WORLD OF WONDER WOMAN (Part 1)
“Okay, let’s review,” says my brain as I pick up a pencil to sketch. Immortal Amazon warrior? Check.
Lasso that forces the truth? Absolutely terrifying. Bracelets that deflect bullets? Iconic.
A costume that shouldn’t be changed much because it was already perfect? Untouchable.
Thousands of years of myth, history, and righteous fury wrapped in red, gold, and blue? Frankly unfair to every other female superhero.
Wonder Woman isn’t just a character. She’s a statement. A walking mic drop forged from Greek mythology, wartime propaganda, feminist power, and timeless beauty. She can end wars, inspire peace, and still look like she’d just walked off a catwalk show. That’s range.
So naturally, I had to draw her. A lot. And let’s get through some of my favourites!
Here we find Diana in her most vulnerable state: mid–ice cream raid. No battlefield. No gods. Just a spoon, a tub, and the universal truth that even warrior princesses deserve dessert. There’s something magical about catching her off-guard, and wondering what her favourite flavour might be. Choc Chip?
Here I go full myth on Themiscyra. Four images. One goddess.
Wonder Woman in all her magnificence. The warrior. The protector. The symbol. She represents love without weakness, power without cruelty, and beauty without apology. Diana is compassionate, with a backbone and strength of soul. The kind of icon that doesn’t age, doesn’t fade, and doesn’t ask for permission.
Beauty on the Beach! This one I just remember wanting to capture her beauty in the most simple way. Does what it says on the tin!
Wonder Woman and Lois Lane. Wine glasses. Malbec. And Clark is nowhere in sight. Eek!
These are two legendary women decompressing after saving the world in very different ways. There’s a quiet understanding that they’ve both seen some things. This is the kind of conversation that fixes the soul… and empties the bottle. Totally up to you to decide what they’re talking about. Ear’s burning, Superman?
Bottleneck Gallery Print (SOLD OUT)
Hall of Justice moment. No action pose. No explosions. Just Wonder Woman getting caught off guard in the Hall of Justice, letting the camera do its job. Who is taking the photo? You decide!
GOOD MORNING, DIANA! Dawn breaks over Themyscira as Wonder Woman looks down from a balcony. In my mind, it’s probably some of her sisters making a racket downstairs, practising with swords, or maybe her mother calling her to come down and take a ride with the horses, either way…must be nice to wake up flawless.
If you love Wonder Woman the way she deserves to be loved, do yourself a favor.
