SUPER SODA!
What started as a “why not?” doodle last year has officially turned into a full-blown thing. The DC Girl Super Soda Cans were born out of pure fun, a touch of nostalgia, and perhaps one too many late-night ideas involving pin-up art and pop culture. Fast-forward to now, and my inbox looks like Gotham on a Friday night. Everyone wants another set. Everyone has opinions. Everyone has a favourite girl. And honestly? I love that.
THE MIXED BAG- CRIME FIGHTERS & MYSTERY
These are the ones who live in the shadows, fight crime, and absolutely know more than they’re telling you: leather, legs, lethal skills, and lots of side-eye. Don’t let these girls catch you takin’ a second glance.
THE GOOD GIRLS: Star-Spangled Good Girls
Red, white, blue… and absolutely fabulous.
These are glamourous without losing grit. Power poses, confident smiles, and that vintage “we got this” energy. If Norman Rockwell had a pin-up phase, this would be it.
THE GOTHAM GIRLS: These girls ruin your life and look flawless doing it.
These are the ladies who thrive under flickering neon and questionable moral decisions. Think rooftop silhouettes, smirks sharper than Batarangs, and enough attitude to make Batman sigh deeply into the night. The Gotham Girls don’t ask permission. They take the can, pop the top, and walk away ...leaving their mark on you. EEK!
Now, real talk. I did flirt with the idea of doing a Marvel girl set. I even threw it out there on Instagram like a harmless little question. And wow. The response was loud, passionate, and very DC. So for now? Looks like I’m sticking with the girls of DC. The Marvel crowd might get their own brand one day if I clone myself or stop sleeping entirely.
Which brings me to the real question everyone keeps asking me. Do I start doing MEN this year? Or do I keep riding the pin-up wave?
Honestly… jury’s still out. But if history tells us anything, it’s that soda tastes better with style, sass, and a little danger on the label.
In the meantime, go do yourself a favour. Swing by the comic section on the site, grab some groovy books, and treat yourself like the main character you are. Because heroes come and go… but great art and great comics? Always worth cracking open.
