COMICS THAT MADE ME LOVE COMICS #2 NIGHTWING- THE TARGET

Preview

The Target was a one-shot special centering on Dick Grayson – now a cop in the Blüdhaven Police Department, and is framed for the actions of some racist cops who beat a kid to death. This hits home even though this book was written in 2001. Could this book be written in todays sensitive climate? Who knows. Anyhoo…to clear his name ( and even Batman tells him not to even think about wearing the Nightwing costume until he does) Dick takes on the persona of THE TARGET, who looks badass and could be a great original character if the editors at DC had a clue. Drawn by Scott Mc Daniel , who just draws movement and action like no-one else in the business, and written by Chuck Dixon, this book is a straight up hit and I’ve read it multiple times over the years.
