P.I. DIRTY MARTINI makes her debut in Liquid Lunch

Good news! I've just got back the edited version of Dave Gillette's short story for my character Rina 'Dirty' Martini, which will now be added to the Savoir Magazine download you'll all have access to.

As the Blue Lotus comes from my love for shows and films of the 60s- Dirty Martini is pure late 70's-80's passion. Starsky & Hutch, Streets Of San Francisco, Cannon, Kojak, Shaft, Magnum Force, Isaac Hayes/ Lalo Schifrin music... all that jazz! Literally everyone was either a cop or a private investigator.

The premise? Rina Martinez is an ex-exotic dancer whose life changes after her mentor, Private Eye Jack Cannon, is murdered on a case. Rina takes over his business and looks to find out who killed him. Along with her brother Chico (Hustler, Con man), her associate Thelonius, and a few other unsavoury characters, she pays her bills by taking on cases around Los Angeles. 

Check out this short promo I created for the characters' introduction. With any luck, after I finish Eva Strongbird Part 2 and The Scarlett Couture Annual, Martini might get the storybook treatment in her own book.
