THAT INFANTINO BATMAN FAN!

Preview

BATMAN fan Lee Johnson loves this classic Batman pose so much… he’s the owner of two of my original versions.

That Classic pose.

Possibly the most iconic Batman and Robin illustration and the most definitive Dynamic Duo picture in comics, drawn by Carmine Infantino with Inks by Murphy Anderson.

DESPOP/INFANTINO

In my first edition, I tried to emulate Carmine’s fantastic pose- with a Despop twist. Creating depth of field with the skyline closer behind them and taking out the super-moon.

THE ‘APARO’ VERSION

In this latest version, I wanted the Batman that I grew up with and loved- Jim Aparo’s Batman and Jason Todd. This era of Batman had some of the greatest storyline’s in his history. Knightfall, Night of The Beast, Death In The Family and No Man’s Land to name a few. Jim Aparo’s art was quintessential to their success.

COLOR RESORATION

Lee took my original ink art and re-created the image in it’s original style. Love the results.

DUST & SCRATCHES

Great job , Lee!
