TRIPLE PACK- Detective Comics #742 # 745 & #765
Three beautifully stylised covers that would look stunning framed on your wall as well as part of your collection.
Detective Comics #742 This was the first time Batman's chest emblem was changed back to a large black logo without the yellow ellipse behind it in mainstream continuity. Prior to this the all black and grey color scheme was first brought back in Frank Miller's Batman: The Dark Knight #3, in 1986. Excluding Elseworlds and prequels this had not been seen in DC mainstream continuity since Detective #326 in 1964. The New Batman Adventures cartoon series airing during this time had made this muted color transition two years prior to the turn of the millennium.
Detective Comics #765 - What's one way to make Batman mad? Break into James Gordon's house. That's what one band of robbers ends up doing, and they're going to be sorry.
Detective Comics #745 -Batman discovers the truth behind the mysterious Whisper, but first he'll have to get past Abbot, who'll kill him to keep her secret from being revealed. "Evolution" part 3.
