Issue #198 A CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS tie-in issue! Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner team up to destroy the Anti-Monitor's birthplace—but the Green Lantern Corps discovers the dangers of Hal and Guy succeeding in their mission and head to Qward to stop them!

Issue#199- Hal Jordan returns to the ranks of the Green Lantern Corps and leads a team of Lanterns to bring in Goldface, the killer of Jordan's old friend and fellow Lantern, Tomar-Re.

This landmark issue also saw Hal visit Star Sapphire, now leader of the alien tribe known as the Zamarons, and it featured the return of Appa Ali Apa, a Guardian of the Universe who had encountered both Hal and Green Arrow years before.

Issue #200 A battle takes place on Oa as The Weaponers, led by Sinestro, attack the entire Green Lantern Corps alongside Guy Gardner, Star Sapphire (Carol Ferris), and Hector Hammond. They are stopped by the Guardians and the Corps, as the Guardians later reflect on the Crisis itself, and the changes wrought from it. The Zamarons arrive and leave with the Guardians to another plane of existence, leaving the Corps to police itself, so that they can ready themselves for the next generation of man (later seen in Millennium (DC, 1988 series)).
